The Personal is Political examines the relationship between personal experience and the political structures we navigate in our daily lives. It engages art as a vehicle of civic action, featuring works by national artists committed to investigating identity, freedom and resistance through their practice.
We are now seeking submissions for The Personal is Political, opening March 9th, 2017 with a private fundraising event benefiting Planned Parenthood Southeast. This call is open to artists of all gender identities, racial and economic backgrounds living across the globe. Consideration will be given to all mediums and dimensions. $5 of each submission fee will go to benefit Planned Parenthood Southeast. See our website for info on how to submit!
