Jeweler, Maker, Engineer
I started creating in the fourth grade, when my passion for both art and hands on engineering and science lead me to the constantly evolving world of jewelry and precious stones. Since then, I have explored many different avenues of creation and fallen in love with the world of metal and wire. I create custom jewelry and sculptures from wire using a variety of metal working techniques. I also mine and cut my own gemstones, allowing me to be even more involved in the design of a piece from its inception. When I’m not in the workshop, I’m studying mechanical engineering at Olin College in Needham, MA. I recently joined the artisan’s community of Somerville, and currently work out of Artisan’s Asylum, developing my skills and forming deeper connections with the community. I enjoy working closely with people to solve problems and create new, awesome things.
