What & Where?
The City of Las Vegas Gallery Program is requesting fiber based and beaded artwork made by artists in the United States for a 12 week exhibit in the Las Vegas City Hall Chamber Gallery. Fiber based work can consist of weaving, crochet, embroidery, cross-stitch, sewing/stitching, or knitting

This is a national curated exhibit opportunity to show your work. Las Vegas has a vibrant growing art community. The highlight of this exhibit is to expose artwork in these media to the residents of the community. Shipping, through FedEx, will be available.

Small works will be considered. Two dimensional works cannot be larger than 24” x 36,” and sculptural works no larger than 16” x 16” x 24”. Three dimensional works must be able to be shown on a pedestal with a cover and two dimensional works must be able to hang from a cable and hook system (walls are marble and therefore nothing can be secured to the walls).

How to Apply:
To submit your artwork(s) go to http://artsregistrylas.vegas/. Submit your work to the Beads & Thread Exhibit opportunity, one entry per submittal form in order to include separate entry title, medium, price and description information. Maximum submissions are five per artist. There is no entry fee associated with submitting to this exhibit. An artist/curator with expertise in Fiber work will be asked to curate this exhibit.

Calendar for notification and exhibit dates:
Notification for accepted and unaccepted artwork will be completed via email by March 20th.

Artwork must arrive at Las Vegas City Hall by April 6th (address: Las Vegas City Hall, Office of Cultural Affairs, Gallery Program, 495 S. Main St., Las Vegas, NV 89101)

Exhibit opens to the public on April 13th. Reception may be possible, but will be determined.

Final exhibit date will be July 13th. Work will be packed and shipped back on or around July 24th.
