Community Solutions has engaged The Golden Thread Gallery to curate a large-scale art installation/production located at the Swift Building in Hartford on the corner of Love Lane to be displayed at an artist reception on Saturday, February 14th.

DETAILS:

We encourage artists to think big, bold and bright! We are open to all mediums and all interpretations of our theme
“ALL YOU NEED IS LOVE”. This installation will be part of a bigger project to include a children’s art event.

Request For Proposal (RFP) response must include:
Name and bio of Artist/art group
One to two pages describing in detail the installation you are planning
Mediums to be used
Tools to be used/hanging technique must be detailed
Photo /sketch example of installation (if projected light exhibit or live performance component, please include additional details.)
TIMELINE:
Response to RFP by 1/31
Winning Artist/ Art Group Announced 2/6
Work completed by 2/13 with opening on Saturday, February 14th
ARTIST PAYMENT:

Chosen Artist will receive a one-time stipend of $2,000 on 2/14

* Artist must bring all the tools and assistance necessary to execute installation.
