One distinguishing quality that sets human beings apart is our curiosity to reach beyond ourselves and explore the wonders beyond the corporeal and tangible. Open to all media and all viewpoints, the Foundry Art Centre’s Concerning the Spiritual exhibition asks the artist to interpret the mystery of spirituality in their artwork. All entries are due by Saturday, October 1, 2016. Concerning the Spiritual will open on Friday, November 18, 2016 with an opening reception from 6:00pm – 8:00pm. A gallery talk will be given prior to the reception at 5:30pm. Three awards will be given at the opening reception, two $200 juror’s choice awards and a $500 or Going Solo exhibition juror’s choice award. This exhibition closes on Friday, January 6, 2017.
