The Mother Brook Arts and Community Center’s Fall Open Studios 2016 will be Saturday November 12 (11 – 5) and Sunday November 13 (11 – 5). In addition to the 35+ resident artists, visiting artists are invited to apply to participate in the Fall Open Studios at MBACC. Participation is juried, and artists do not need to be from Dedham to participate.

Mother Brook Arts & Community Center is a vital and burgeoning art center in Dedham, MA. Housed in the former Avery School, it is the creative home of over 35 resident artists, including photographers, painters, fiber artists, sculptors, ceramicists, illustrators, MetalMorphosis Silversmithing Studio, and the Dedham School of Music. Our fall and spring Open Studios consistently attract well over 1,000 visitors from New England region.

Artists: All visiting artists are selected by a jury of MBACC resident artists. Imports or buy/sell are not allowed. Artists retain all proceeds from their sales.

Open Studios Hours: Saturday (11/12) 11:00 to 5:00 and Sunday (11/13) 11:00 to 5:00. Artists or their representative must be present during these hours.

Demonstrations: These run throughout the weekend. All artists are invited to present a 10 – 15 minute demonstration of their process.

To Apply: Applications are due by 5 pm on September 18, 2016.
There is no application fee.

Notification: All artists will be notified of the jury’s decision by email on September 25, 2016.

Registration: Accepted artists will receive an online registration link with their notification. Registration and fee ($125.00) must be submitted by 5 pm on October 2, 2016. Submission of payment signifies you have read and agreed to the artist guidelines.
