Beyond Labels introduces the viewer to a cross-section of Connecticut artists of Hispanic/Latino heritage not previously represented in the region. Like the rich ethnic and cultural amalgam of their birth, they work and express their creativity in diverse media and visual idioms. Beyond Labels focuses us not on political boundaries but rather on the diversity and depth of artistic accomplishment of Hispanic artists.
