Art-Competition.net announces a call for entries “RED 2,” in all still mediums, for an online group exhibition. Twenty artists will be chosen for the exhibit. Deadline: August 22, 2016 (Midnight EST). The curators will be looking for artwork enhanced through the use of the color red. Its application in the work has no required parameters—from a single red dot to a completely red image—the choice rests within the artist’s eye.

Red may define intuitively an intended focal point that carries the viewer more deeply into the message. All submissions, which can be expressed from representational to abstract, are welcome. The artists and exhibit will be extensively marketed with numerous press releases, social media marketing, event listings calendars, and featured in “Art Market NewsTM” with over 18,000 subscribers worldwide. Entry fee: $20 for the initial entry and $10 for each additional image.
