Suspended Stories: A Tatted Exhibition
What: Long after a tattoo has healed the ink adapts to its surrounding s and creates a home between the layers of the skin . As appreciators of this art we welcome Suspended Stories: A Tatted Exhibition to the walls of Blue Door Art Gallery, celebrating the love of tattoos and their creators. This show invites tattoo artists of all kinds to share their media.

Guidelines: This is an exhibition open to tattoo artists exclusively, for the expression of art outside that of the human canvas. Tattoo Artists are welcome to submit work falling under the mediums of Drawing, Painting, Sculpture, Illustration, Craft, Printmaking, Photography, Video & Mixed Media. This show is open to all artists regardless of residency.

Are you a parlor looking to represent multiple artists in this show? Want to represent your shop? You can purchase Ad space, Rent wall space, Host a workshop, or Set up shop inside the gallery during this exhibition.

Please do not submit portfolio photographs of completed tattoos, they will not be considered for display. Only completed works of art will be considered for submission.

To Submit Work: Visit Bluedoorartcenter.org, go to ‘Call for Artists’ and follow the submission instructions. There is no fee for submission. For each accepted work the artist will be charged a $25 hanging fee. Last day for art submission is August 1st 2016
