Fascism

“an authoritarian and nationalistic right-wing system of government and social organization.”

Throughout history artists have expressed themselves and their feelings toward the world around them through their art. This exhibition seeks to highlight the work of artists influenced by fascism.

This exhibition marks the return of original curator of the Whit and Gallery W Nayana Glazier.

Gallery W @the Whit is seeking submissions from artists from anywhere in the world working in any media on the subject of Fascism. There will be a group exhibition on the subject to be held during the month of September 2016.

The Whitney Center for the Arts is located in the heart of the Berkshires in a historic mansion in Pittsfield MA. galleryw.org thewhit.org
Submitting is free.

Deadline to submit is July 20th 2016

Artists selected will be notified by August 1st 2016

How to submit-

By email

– Email up to five images of artwork (or link to where your art can be viewed) under the subject “fascism submission” to [email protected]. Up to three images per artwork is allowed for sculptures. A total of five works of art may be submitted per artist.
