“Forrealism” is a solo show by artist Andy Decker. Decker uses surrealism and iconography along with wit to explore global and political issues that affect our current climate. Throughout history politics have been explored through visual and performing art as a means of self-expression, documentation and propaganda. These themes are particularly poignant now as this is an election year and we are surrounded with conversation and imagery meant to sway our opinions and votes.
Programs will occur throughout the two month exhibit to further explore these themes. This exhibit is curated by Katrina M. Daniels.
