The Avon Art Association will hold its 48th annual Arts and Crafts Show at The Old Avon Village at 41 East Main St. (Route#44) in Avon, CT. It will be held from Saturday, September 26th from 10:00 -5:00 and Sunday, September 27th from 10:00 -4:30. Admission is free. Look for the rocking chair. More than 40 juried artists will exhibit in a variety of mediums including fine arts, photography, jewelry and a variety of crafts. There will be music by local musicians, merchant sidewalk sales, and artist demonstrations. All proceeds from the show go to their scholarship fund. Recipients are chosen from among Farmington Valley high school seniors who have been accepted for collegiate art studies.
