The exhibit will run from March 28, 2014 – April 13, 2014.

Mead Library Poetry Circle partnered with Sheboygan Visual Artists for this event. Sixteen poets were paired with sixteen artists, resulting in a joint exhibit of art and poetry in the main gallery.

The artist took on the challenge of creating a new work of art based on one of three poems submitted by a poet. That new work of art and the poem that inspired it will be displayed side by side.

Each artist submitted photos of three already completed works of art. Mead Library Poets chose one work of art to inspire a new poem. Both the work of art and the new poem that it inspired will be exhibited side by side.

The end result will be two works of art by each artist exhibited alongside two poems by members of the Mead Library Poetry Circle.

EBCO Artworks Gallery is open on Saturdays and Sundays from 10 am – 4 pm. Admission is free.
