It has been said that necessity is the mother of invention. So which necessity came first? Did early humans learn to build nets and weave baskets by watching spiders and birds, or did spiders and birds learn by watching humans…?

Creative thoughts are sometimes left to percolate off into the ethers of one’s own personal headspace only to be retrieved by some chain of events in a bright flash of epiphany. It is here where the inventive use of the familiar is transposed into something special, never before seen and functioning anew in the world .
