The McNay Art Museum collection has includes 20,000 works of art and history. Tours of the exhibition feature highlights of Medieval and Renaissance art, 19th and 20th Century Art, Abstract Expressionist and Native American and New Mexican folk art.
The collection has recently focused on several late twentieth-century art movements including Abstract Expressionist painting and sculpture. Additional attractions include geometric abstraction and optical art, and assemblage and minimal sculpture.
