The paintings of Amrita Singhal explore an awareness of the human existence within a larger ecosystem, seeing our experience as part of a large whole. Drawing from the literature and art of ancient cultures like Vedic, Greek, and Roman, the artist gleans brilliant color, textures and experimentations in medium application to explore this infinite ecology. Although her work is not based on political, gender, racial or national identities, all are freely used to explore universal meanings.
