A kick-off party to the River Valley Art Tour, taking place in the towns of Essex, Deep River and Chester, will be Friday, Oct. 6 from 5 to 7 at the Essex Art Association. Visitors will be served wine and appetizers and be able to see art by all 43 participants on the tour. Brochures with maps to artist studios will be available as well.
The tour is Saturday, Oct. 7 and Sunday, Oct. 8 from 10 to 5 and Monday, Oct. 9 from 10 to 2.
