The Brinton 101 small works show exhibit opens in the S. K. Johnston, Jr. Family Gallery and the Jacomien Mars Reception Gallery on November 5. The small works show features nearly 100 talented artists from throughout the U.S. This show includes artwork in a variety of media and genres ranging from traditional landscapes and wildlife subjects to contemporary abstract oils, drawings, and other media.
Working in a small format, artists were invited to submit up to three pieces each with two-dimensional works in an 8” x 10” format, and sculptures in a size of 12” x 8” x 10”, or smaller. The Brinton 101 show is popular with collectors and patrons for its affordability and quality. An artists’ reception, free and open to the public, takes place on November 4, from 6 to 8 PM.
The Brinton 101 continues through December 23.
The Brinton 101 small works show is sponsored in part by donations from Forrest E. Mars, Jr. Sheridan Charitable Foundation, Mars Foundation, Wyoming Arts Council, Edwin T. Meredith Foundation, Tucker Foundation and Ramaco Carbon LLC.
