Jeanne Freeman, who’s fiddling has been described as “effortlessly virtuosic” and singer/guitarist Dan Ringrose, whose voice has been described as “stunning” bring a lively fresh take on traditional Irish tunes and songs, and performances interwoven with stories, poetry, and humor. Jeanne who studied with P.V. O’Donnell is the founder and director of Connecticut Academy of Irish Music. Dan has performed with Tommy Makem, P.V. O’Donnell, the Clancy Brothers and many other popular Irish musicians for over 30 years. Both have been featured on many television and radio programs, and have performed at many local CT venues, numerous festivals etc.
