The Art Guide welcomes to its internet pages the multi-talented Pasquale Mazzullo. Raise in Messina Italy, Pasquale knew well the north coast region of Sicily and shipyards that brought agriculture and tourism to his hometown.
As a teen Pasquale studied art and completed his first degree in the Applied Arts at the Art School “E. Basile” of Messina. Dedicated to sketch, painting and sculpture Pasquale continued his education and eventually graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts of Reggio Calabria.
In 2002, at the age of twenty-eight, he won a scholarship to the Foundation “Bonino-Pulejo” and moved to Venice where he completed his studies in the International School of Graphics and Design, specializing in the very technical production of multisensory artists’ books.
Pasquale currently lives and studies in Venice where he works as a professional artist commissioned by private collectors as well as ecclesiastical and large scales municipal murals. Pasquale’s diverse background does not stop at traditional assignments; he also creates gallery installations, murals, trompe l’oeil and multisensory artists’ books in addition to book illustrations for poets and writers.
