Artist's Statement: My charge is to bring spontaneous glory to a painting surface—using just a handful of brushes and a small palette of vibrant colors. Yes, I'm all about "looseness", freedom, and allowing the brushes and medium to take me to unexpected places. However, I also plan, design, draw and consider well before any color or brush touch the painting surface. My adventure in water media is a journey and an evolution—and that's a joy. I sense that what I'm doing is part of a greater whole that goes beyond imagination. With each new painting, I strive to be completely involved in the process at hand and that hopefully, I will touch a place of special meaning to you as well.
