Sculptor/carver Eric Pesso has had a long affair with the beauty of wood, and simply chooses straight-grained pieces of wood as blank canvases. In his works of fluid beauty we see the native locale of his raw material: maple, ash, oak and more, cut down for many reasons from Prospect Park, Ditmas Park, and so on.
