Aziz Konda
Presented by Arts Center Killingworth’s Spectrum Art Gallery and Artisan Store
Aziz Konda is a 24-year-old artist inspired by music, the environment, and the many artists he looks up to. Aziz went to college for art in Cleveland, Ohio but ended up dropping out because he felt like the courses weren’t practical enough. Konda couldn’t afford going to another that had courses that focused on what he wanted to do. Aziz learned most of his skills in painting by himself and was mentored by the famous modern artist Jenaro Raheem Goode in Austin, Texas. Konda is currently working as a grocery food deliverer which he uses to sell his drawings door to door. He sells his paintings through commissions on the side which enables him to afford art supplies and cost of living. Aziz’s artwork is currently exhibited at Spectrum Gallery in Centerbrook, Connecticut.
