Gallery One at the Clayhouse
Gallery One, Old Saybrook, Connecticut, is a co-operative gallery showing the work of mid-career artists working in a wide variety of media and styles from representational to abstract in photography, printmaking, painting, sculpture and ceramics. The Gallery encourages art appreciation and expression through interactive events at its monthly second Friday receptions, including Meet the Artists and Participatory Art Events.
Member artists: Nile Barrett, Jody Bill, Elizabeth Boyd, David Brown, David Brubaker, Ashby Carlisle, Kay Knight Clarke, Paul Harper, Denise Gaffney Hartz, Gail Mally-Mack, William G. Nelson, Judith Barbour Osborne, Diana Rogers, Chip Rutan, Rick Silberberg, Maureen Squires, and Jill Vaughn.
Gallery One was founded in 2003 and currently sublets exhibition space from the Clayhouse, located at 665 Boston Post Road at Elm Street. Hours: Tuesday through Saturday 10am-5:30pm; Sunday Noon-5pm; closed Monday.
