City Gallery is an artist run gallery that features innovative contemporary art. Exhibitions by members of painting, print making, sculpture, photography, and/or mixed media are presented monthly, with accompanying talks by the exhibiting artists. Our mission is to present professional exhibitions while also serving as a place for dialogue among artists and the public.

City Gallery first opened in 2003. It is located on Upper State Street, in New Haven, CT, a vibrant neighborhood of shops and restaurants.We have been honored to receive “New Haven Living” magazine’s second runner up award for Best Art Gallery in New Haven 2014.

“CWOS@CityGallery”: As part of New Haven Ct’s city Wide Open Studios, City Gallery presents 18 artists featuring work in painting, printmaking, sculptures, paper-making, photography and mixed media.
Exhibition, October 6 – 30. Reception during CWOS Transported Weekend hours Saturday October 22 and Sunday October23, 12:00 – 6:00.
