Between 1916 and 1970, approximately 6 Million African Americans living in Southern states moved North in hopes of acquiring a “better” life.
This exhibit explores their stories, creativity, lifestyle/style, breadth and depth of their experiences. It is a piece of African American History for all ethnicities to appreciate, learn from and enjoy.
