Leclerc Contemporary Gallery is pleased to announce its summer show, ‘Summer Flowers-’ featuring works by Brooke Werhane Maples , a fine artist currently living and working in the New York Metro area. This show features works in abstract expressionism demonstrating a focus on line and the juxtaposition of composition, resulting in paintings that spark emotions, some unsettling.

Brooke graduated from the University of Missouri with a fine arts, art history and environmental design focus and studied Interior Design under the direction of Howard Christian, Bunny Williams, John Rosselli and Jeffrey Billhuber. She has curated shows for Leonard Silaghi and her work was exhibited in the 2015 “Person Place or Thing – Works on Paper from 51 Artists” for 68 Projects, Berlin.
