As a young artist Philip Koch was inspired by seeing the paintings of Edward Hopper to change from making abstractions to working as a realist artist. Since 1983 Koch has enjoyed 17 residencies staying and working in Hopper’s former studio in Truro, MA. This exhibition features Koch’s vividly colored contemporary landscapes from New England and the Mid-Atlantic states.
