Tom Jaszczak and Tom Sargeant: New Work
Mark making tells a story about both the artist and the material; for these two artists their chosen process is evident in the finished product. Ceramicist Tom Jaszczak applies milky slips to red earthenware forms then adds pops of bright color to draw attention to the movement in each piece. Painter Tom Sargeant builds depth in his work through layer upon layer of acrylic paint creating inky washes to explore the weathered, worn and impermanent.

Nocturne
Exploring the theme of dusk, dawn, evening and night, this group show will feature artist’s interpretation of this enigmatic part of each day. Artists include: Randall Berndt, Carol Chase Bjerke, Kay Brathol-Hostvet, Rick Christianson, Chris Gargan, Karen Halt, Kelli Hoppmann, William Lemke, Ben Peyer, Lori Schappe-Youens, Allan Servoss, Mary Ulm Mayhew, Paul Nitsche, Diane Washa, and Jonathan Wilde.
