Most Wanted, curated by Jennifer Famery-Mariani, is the most comprehensive showcase of David King Reuben’s canvas and paper works to date. In this exhibition, Reuben reflects on the growing importance of physical appearance in contemporary culture, which sparks promises of external influence and conformity. He examines how increased investment in appearance revisits the notion of interpersonal identity in an era of never ending socio-cultural appearance ideals and fear of evaluation based on appearance.
