Rockwell Art and Framing of Ridgefield will be exhibiting the work of artist Cindi Mullins from November 21st through February 6th. Ms. Mullins has been a resident of Ridgefield, CT for 30 years and so it’s apt that she has been Inspired by Ridgefield, which is the title of her new show. Inspired by Ridgefield is a body of work depicting only scenes from Ridgefield, such as, the Cass Gilbert Fountain, the little water trough on Route 35, and a lovely landscape from the Ridgefield Stream that runs by the Recreation Center’s walking path. Ms. Mullins expresses a realistic style on some paintings, while others are more abstract.

Cindi Mullins, an award-winning Connecticut painter, enjoys painting a range of subjects. Drawn to landscapes, still life and “closely cropped” florals, she paints au plein air or in her studio. Her work has a blueprint of reality transmuted by her own sensibility and creative decisions. Whether painting abstractly or staying close to natural scenes, she infuses her own energy and invites the viewer to engage in their own experience.

Gallery Hours: Tuesday – Friday 10-5:30pm / Saturday 10-5:00pm
