Insider Art is an eclectic mix of fun and inspiring work by Union Street Gallery Studio & Guild Artists. This annual exhibit showcases the artists’ most recent work as well as older work shown in new and exciting ways. The work in the show highlights a diverse mix of approaches to subjects, media and styles and includes painting, drawing, pastel, photography, collage, sculpture, and found object assemblage.

USG artists are all part of a collaborative that helps run the gallery, and they share a common goal of helping each other grow and develop as professional artists. They range from emerging artists to nationally recognized and published artists. The artists hail from the greater Chicagoland area, the majority from here in Chicago Heights as well as the surrounding south suburbs. Frequently shown as a group, their work has been featured and awarded honors in local, regional, and national exhibits.

The exhibit and reception are open and free to the public. There will be refreshments and live music performed by Grammy Contender Composer Keenan Baxter! The artists will also be present to talk about their work.
