City Hall’s Metro Gallery hosts the Reno Tahoe Plein Air Painters. The Reno Tahoe Plein Air Painters is a collection of local artists that paint in a vast range of mediums. Their passion is for the astounding beauty that the area has to offer. Each week the group gets together to paint outside in the areas around Reno, Tahoe, Hope Valley, Carson valley, Mt. Rose, Verdi, Truckee, etc. Each paintings highlights nature’s gift of the seasons, weather, as well as time of day.
