The National Association of Women Artists (NAWA) is pleased to announce “Grand Visions: We Are Here”, a juried exhibition of thirty-one works of art by NAWA members in celebration of the centennial of women’s suffrage.

NAWA was founded in 1889 as the first established professional women’s fine art organization in the United States. The Association celebrates and encourages contemporary and emerging artists, honoring the continuing contribution of women to the history of American culture and art.

The exhibit will take place in the Grand Central Library at 135 East 46th Street from March 1 to May 29, 2020. Library hours are 10am-8pm Monday-Thursday, 10am-6pm Friday, and 10am-5pm Saturday. There will be a welcoming address by NAWA, followed by a presentation by Penny Colman, author of “The Vote: Women’s Fierce Fight,” on Saturday, March 14, from 2-4pm.
