Joan Dreyer uses hi-tech and traditional tools to create freestanding three-dimensional forms and contemporary art quilts. She merges hand stitching with digital photography and printing to investigate themes such as loss, social status, and propaganda in an integration of abstraction and realism that renders the work as both provocative and sensual.
