“My paintings are about how I see and experience life. Some might view them as landscapes but for me the paintings are meditations, mindscapes and physical scapes. Hopefully the viewer, through my use of composition and color, will see the world anew . To achieve this vision I have used mixed media, such as oil marks resisting acrylic washes or encaustic paints layered on Photo screen prints. Enjoy.” – Fran Sutherland
