An exhibition of painted plates by local artist Yulia Drozdova.

Drozdova’s talent manifests in her intricately painted and immaculately crafted plates. Her designs contain a wealth of spiritual and psychological symbolism that stems from the ancient tradition of mandala, a Sanskrit term used to describe geometric patterns that represent the cosmos. Rather than simply follow the exact style and procedures of mandala, she injects her own unique patterns and, therefore, her own life experiences.

She fills every color, line, and number with meaning that appeals to the universal nature of experience. As such, her works have a ubiquitous appeal; they would make for an exceptional, extraordinary addition to anyone’s collection.
