Judd Foundation is pleased to present Donald Judd: Prints, a selection of woodcut prints and metal furniture, curated by Flavin Judd, at 101 Spring Street in New York. The second in a new series featuring art, Judd Furniture, and books on the ground floor, the installation will be open to the public on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays from 1:00-5:30pm through December 19, 2015.

Over the course of four decades, Judd created hundreds of prints in aquatint, etching, and screenprint techniques though focused on woodcuts as his primary print medium. For this installation, Judd Foundation will feature three complete sets of woodcut prints dating from 1988 to 1993 that explore color and proportion in series, key concerns for Judd’s work in both two and three-dimensions. An example of Judd’s varied practice, the installation will also feature Judd’s metal furniture designed in 1984. A selection of related books from Donald Judd’s Library will accompany the installation. Visitors will be encouraged to sit on the furniture, read the books, and take photographs.

Brenda Danilowitz, Chief Curator at The Josef and Anni Albers Foundation, will give a public talk on Wednesday, November 18 at 6:00pm.
