A show of two Connecticut artists who have a background in abstract resin based painting and digital photography.

John O’Sullivan, of Newtown, is a graduate of School of Visual Art in New York City completing a BFA in Sculpture. John is the owner of Art & Frame Of Danbury LLC. which proudly services our local art community with custom framing and an unique gallery. His paintings are a fresh look on mixed media painting, what he calls “poured paintings”. They primarily consist of resin, acrylic painting and found objects.

Brett Bogdan, of West Hartford, graduate of Roger Williams completing his degree in Computer Science. Brett is a self taught photographer who works in the Information Technology field. His unusual approach to photographing everyday places throughout New England is exciting and leaves the viewer intrigued by his compositions.

This exhibition is an exciting project for Brittany Roberts’ State Farm agency. She is working in conjunction with local curator and art consultant Katie Bassett to coordinate this pop-up show. The two have been friends and collaborators since 2009. They are delighted to be curating and hosting “Digital & Abstractions.” together.
