Ascent Contemporary Projects is pleased to present Metamorphosis, a solo exhibition featuring the work of artist Dave Rittinger.

Folksy and thoughtful, Rittinger’s work embraces found and discarded objects, giving them new purpose and meaning. His unique and whimsical manipulations of every day articles arouse curiosity in their evolved significance. With a background in architecture, Rittinger often moves to create pieces that are not only compelling in their structural complexity, but serve a function as well. Through an assemblage of eccentric and unusual materials, Rittinger approaches his subject matter with quirky and playful wit.
