Mind to eye and hand to paper, the simplicity, immediacy, and economy of drawing provides me with a open field.
Presently, a figurative element is becoming more prominent in my images. Each piece has its own idiosyncratic concerns that get worked out through visual “riffing” if you will.
Musicality, absurdity, and the vibration intensity of encountering a human face are all elements I hope to get into these works.
