Artists often exist as a response to social, cultural, and political concerns through direct or indirect acknowledgment. Rich Flavor, Poor Taste will attempt to blur the lines between low and high culture within the gallery setting. Human nature conditions us to focus on the differences we see in each other. The artists wish to look for and celebrate their similarities while also exhibiting their work together. The artists will perform within their collaborative environments and will organize a one day residency program. The show will involve an immersive commitment from the viewer, in which journeying and interacting throughout the space is encouraged.
