The paintings of noted artist Ben Hotchkiss will be exhibited at the Spruce Home and Garden center on February 25th from 3 to 6pm. The event will be held at 90 Post Rd East, Westport Ct. A wine and cheese reception is provided, and the artist will be present to answer questions and provide incites on his work, which will also be shown at the Spruce locations in West Hartford and New Milford from the weekend of Saturday Feb 19th through March 18th. The work of Ben Hotchkiss has been exhibited at the prestigious NYC Outsider Art Fairs for many years. Galleries that have shown his work include the Outsider Folk Art gallery, the Luise Ross gallery, the Robin Alexander gallery. Ben has had one man show`s at the GINA gallery in the posh upper west side of Manhattan, and at the Ricco Maresca gallery in Chelsea NYC, and the Judy Saslow gallery in Chicago, IL. His work has been favorably reviewed by NY Times senior art critic Roberta Smith, and has is part of the permanent collection of the Intuit Art Museum.
