Odes in oils, poems in pastels, Wordsworth in watercolors – what more can you ask for on a cold January day than to enjoy some art inspired by the written word. You will find artistic vision inspired by verse at Spring Bull Gallery as local artists express their favorite line of poetry in art. “Poetry in Art” opens with a gala reception on Saturday, January 2 from 5-7 p.m.
The show runs January 2 – January 31, 2016. Spring Bull Gallery located at 55 Bellevue Avenue in Newport, Rhode Island is wheel chair accessible and open free to the public.
