ALL NATURAL, an exhibition showcasing the work of artists and fine artisans who incorporate natural materials in their work opens at Spectrum Art Gallery and Artisans Store (June 27 – August 10) at 61 Main Street, Centerbrook, Connecticut. The exhibit includes macro photography of the natural world and fine art and crafts using materials such as sea and river glass, encaustic, wood, feathers, spider web, egg tempera and casein. During the six-week show, the Gallery offers free events to the public including a Family Day, Sunday, July 20, (1-5pm) with Art and Nature Workshops, Storytelling, Music and a Scavenger Hunt. Spectrum is the newest expansion of the non-profit arts organization Arts Center Killingworth, whose mission includes providing opportunities for emerging and established artists to display and sell their work.
