The Marlborough Arts Center traditionally open its Fall Season with an Artist Member Show. The 2012 Artist Member Show begins on Saturday, September 15 and continues on weekends through Sunday, October 28. The Opening Reception, during which everyone can meet and greet the artists, is on Friday, September 14 from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. Admission is free for all of the Artist Member Show events.

This is the 6th Annual Artist Member Show with 35 artists exhibiting their works in a variety of media including oil, watercolor, pencil, acrylic, pastel, sculpture, photography, fiber arts, stained glass, clay, pottery, and jewelry. Every year it is interesting to view the scope of their works and the creative talent within the Marlborough Arts Center.
After the Opening Reception, the weekend hours are every Saturday and Sunday from 1:00 – 4:00 p.m. from September 15 through October 28.

During these weekends, participating artists have offered to do demonstrations of their particular medium, giving visitors an opportunity to see their art in progress and to even have conversations with the artist about their work.
