This two-day workshop explores reduction linoleum block printing. This process involves alternately gouging and printing a single block to develop an image in overlapping layers of color. By the end, there is very little left of the surface of the block and the edition can never be added to. This process yields exciting results that are rich in color. Participants will hand print, using water-soluble inks and Japanese paper. Each participant will complete a small color edition from a single block.
