Northern Lights Art Gallery presents Guillermo Guardia Sculptures. A unique artist who earned a MFA in ceramics in 2005 and then studied Industrial Engineering, receiving his degree form North Dakota University.

His sculptures are considered figurative and focus on the human body as a rich resource of images and artistic embellishment. He uses his idea of imagery to portray personal aspects and society.

His sculptures are generally grouped into puzzles, baby, and the faceless designs withour formal relation among the three. Guardia considers them as a sequence of ideas or thoughts. The puzzle sculptures offer insight and design elements while the others are more simplistic such the faceless.
