Join us for Los Angeles’s very own “Happening.” Indulge in stimulating artistic activities, food, love, and community, all following Corita Kent’s philosophy. Experiment and create with unconventional tools inspired by Corita’s very own teachings!

Visit the gallery and discover or rediscover the provocative, bold pop art of Corita Kent, the Hollywood nun whose outspoken serigraphs spoke out against war and inequality and promoted messages of love, peace, hope, and community.

Some of Corita’s famous work includes the 1985 “Love” stamp, the Boston Gas Tank Rainbow Swash, and her work with the Physicians for Social Responsibility’s “We Can Create Life Without War” campaign. The Corita Art Center is a gallery and archive dedicated to preserving and promoting her work, spirit, activism, and teachings.
