On Sunday, July 27th, Dorie Petrochko will give a presentation on The History of Natural Science Illustration at 2 pm, followed by the “Journey Into Nature” opening reception from 3 to 5 pm. Admission is free.
Connecticut Landmarks’ Bellamy-Ferriday House & Garden will host an exhibition of the exemplary work of the CT Natural Science Illustrators, including a mix of botanical, mammal, avian, amphibian, reptile, insect, minerals and fossil illustrations. Featured artists include: Cindy Gilbane, Susannah Graedel, Jan Prentice, Dorie Petrochko, and Linda Miller.
